2024 SGAA Awards Reception
Each annual conference ends with an award banquet where we celebrate Lifetime Achievements as well as up-and-coming voices. We have been extremely fortunate over the years to hear from a number of distinguished speakers at our banquets who have given luscious, inspiring presentations to send us energetically on our way.
At the 2024 Conference we will be announcing several brand-new technical awards that will be launched in 2025 in honor of several of our notable members that we have lost since 2020.
2024 Fundraising Auction
SGAA’s annual silent and live auction at the annual conference is a major source of funding for scholarship assistance. Donations directly fund scholarships for professional stained glass instruction all over the country and beyond.
Please look through your studio and consider sharing with us. Donate your work, donate books, historic articles, specialty tools; blown glass vases, an odd bag of jewels; glass bevels, or gift certificates for products or classes! Do you teach classes? Consider donating one seat in a class or workshop. Or if you're known for something specific like sandblasting, beveling, or fusing, consider donating a small custom order opportunity. Who knows, you may end up with new collaborative ideas across the community. You may also donate a gift basket or cards for national events -- every penny raised goes toward expanding the educational resources of our scholarship programs!
Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Many of you have donated in the past and have come to know how important your gifting is, not only to our organization but to those who walk away with precious items. Working together, we can raise more funds than ever to inspire the next generation of artisans working in architectural glass and mosaics.
