Toledo Museum of Art

The Toledo Museum of Art has 35 galleries, a Sculpture Garden, and a Glass Pavilion, featuring more than 25,000 pieces of art and artifacts. From Matisse and Picasso, to decorative arts and the state of the art glass collection, it's well worth seeing. Visit the TMA website (opens new window) to learn more about its various tours, art and glass classes, and art and educational resources available to visitors. TMA is open Wednesday through Sunday and admission is always free!
Toledo First Congressional Church

The First Congressional Church features 16 Early Renaissance Style inspired stained glass windows from the studio of Louis Comfort Tiffany, with 8 of them designed directly by Tiffany himself. The First Congressional Church was founded in 1833 – making it Toledo’s oldest congregation – and this church was built in 1912. It’s open to visitors from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm on weekdays.

The Glass Heritage Gallery

Fostoria is less than an hour's drive south of Toledo, with just as much of a rich glass history. From 1887-1920, a total of 21 glass plants operated in Fostoria. This Gallery preserves and promotes its glass history by displaying the glass of 10 of these factories, including lamps, windows, and tiles. Fostoria’s First Presbyterian Church

Fostoria’s First Presbyterian Church also has absolutely stunning stained glass windows. Construction for this church began in 1889 and was dedicated in 1891. The King’s Daughters’, Anchor Cross, and matching Cross and Crown windows were considered to be just as unique at the time of this installation just as they are today.
Iron Triangle Rail Park

Iron Triangle Rail Park is under the care of Fostoria Rail Preservation Society, which is dedicated to preserving railroad history and public education. They are the caretakers of the former Lake Erie and Western Depot at 128 West North Street, as well as the Fostoria Iron Triangle Visitor Center and Viewing Area. This rail park offers a unique “360 degree unobstructed view of trains passing by on any of the surrounding rails”. Over a hundred freight trains pass through Fostoria every day! This free park is open all day, every day.
