The Conrad Pickel Studio continues to create fine new stained glass, mosaic and sculpture. The studio was founded by Conrad Pickel who apprenticed at the famed Mayer Studios in his native Munich, Germany. Conrad established his own studio in Wisconsin in 1947 and designed projects including windows in the Cathedral of Mary our Queen of Baltimore and the famed Luther Brotherhood window in Minneapolis. The studio is now headed by Paul Pickel who graduated from the University of Wisconsin and headed the fabrication, according to the Guiness Book of World Records of the largest stained glass window in the world at Resurrection Cemetery near Chicago, IL. In 1975 Paul Pickel set up operations in Florida where the studio continues to serve clients in all parts of North America.

The studio has a multi talented staff of artists and craftsmen to create, fabricate and install projects in many techniques and dimensions. The studio is well known for imaginative color and quality figure design. Commissions include walls of colorful mosaic, custom wood carvings and heroic size custom bronze statues.

Innovations include decorative columbarium niches with mosaic or stained glass for churches and cemeteries along with their Narro-Niche, a space saving columbarium. New techniques include laminated stained glass panels with a unique new installation recently completed at Baptist Hospital in Miami, FL
